About
Hey, I’m Jessica
For over two decades, I’ve been a bridge-builder and catalyst across corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors.
I spent 12 years inside tech giants like Google and Cisco, leading bold, equity-centered work at the intersection of business strategy, community investment, and inclusive culture.
But my story begins in the nonprofit world. For 10 years—and starting as an AmeriCorps service member—I worked shoulder to shoulder with communities: engaging students and families, raising money, designing programs, building coalitions, and coaching mission-driven leaders. From classrooms to boardrooms, from grassroots to global, I’ve helped organizations turn values into vision—and vision into results.
At the core of my work is this truth: strategy without soul doesn’t stick. And soul without structure or systems won’t sustain impact..
Today, I partner with courageous leaders and teams navigating transition, complexity, and transformation. Whether you're building something new, evolving something essential, or resetting something broken—I’m here to help you move with clarity, courage, and flow.
If that’s where you are, I’d love to connect.
my story
Before any of the titles, before global Fortune 100 tech companies, boardrooms, or national nonprofits —
I was shaped by a deep culture of service.
I was raised in Northern California, the daughter of a preacher and a teacher—two people who led with conviction, compassion, and community. From them, I learned early that service isn’t just something you do. It’s a way of being. It’s how you move through the world—with care, clarity, and a deep belief in people’s potential.
The lens I bring to my work wasn’t shaped in one place—or one industry. It’s the product of a life lived at the crossroads.
I’ve grown and built community in many places: early education in Stockton, CA; holidays and summers with family in Detroit and Memphis; college at Oakwood University, an HBCU in Alabama; study abroad in Spain; graduate school in Boston and Washington, DC; and tech sector leadership in the San Francisco Bay Area. Each of these places carries a distinct rhythm—a cultural tempo that shaped me. Together, they’ve taught me how policy, equity, and community power intersect, both personally and professionally. Each city, each community, left an imprint—broadening my worldview and deepening my understanding of systems, culture, and change.
And across every chapter—whether I was working with national nonprofits, public schools, faith-based leaders, or leading equity strategy at companies like Google and Cisco —I’ve returned to one truth:
Strategy without soul doesn’t stick. And soul without structure can’t scale.
Over the past two decades, I’ve seen the full spectrum of leadership in the workplace: Leaders who inspire, attract talent, and spark innovation. And leaders caught in unhealthy systems, unconscious bias, and reactive power dynamics. Even the best intentions, without care, can lead to pain, disconnection, and harm.
And that’s why I do this work.
Because I see possibility where others see inevitability. Where some say “that’s just how it is,” I ask, “but what if it could be different?”
My creativity and strategy are shaped by a life lived in contrast—in community with people, places, and systems that operate differently. That diversity of experience—across geographies, sectors, and identities—is my source code. It’s what allows me to connect dots others may not see. To move fluidly between the visionary and the tactical. And to build the kinds of workplaces where humans don’t just function—they flourish.
My “why” is to share that perspective.
To reduce harm.
To repair trust.
To help leaders lead with more care, courage, and clarity.
Whether I’m facilitating, coaching, or advising, I ask the questions that get to the heart of the matter—so you and your team can co-create the culture, systems and strategies that move missions forward and transform how people experience work.
Wherever you are, and whatever sector you’re in, If you’re navigating complexity, growth, or reinvention: I’d be honored to walk with you.
How we work matters
Our approach is rooted in the belief that transformation is a process—not a product.
We don’t offer quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we meet you in your moment, ask good questions, and co-create the path forward.
Our work lives at the intersection of strategy, learning, and care. We bring enough structure to move things forward, and enough flexibility to make sure it works for the people involved.
principles that shape our work
-
Learning Leads the Way
With a background in education, we understand that change sticks when people are part of the process. We integrate learning design into everything we do—not as a warm-up, but as a way to get to what’s real.
-
Co-Creation Over Prescription
We don’t show up with a template. Every engagement is shaped by listening: to what’s said, what’s unsaid, and what’s at stake. We build strategy in partnership with the people doing the work.
-
Trust is a Tool
We approach every relationship with curiosity, cultural fluency, and care. Our facilitation creates space for truth-telling, especially in rooms where that hasn’t always been easy.
-
Structure Makes Space
Clarity, pace, and good design reduce friction. We create structure that holds complexity, so teams can focus on what matters most.
